A beautiful beer for the cool evenings - a proper Winter Warmer - and it's bottle-conditioned too.

Complex, full bodied ale. Bottle conditioned and drinks like cask.

Dark, complex and full of flavour. The family resemblance to 6X is evident, but this is stronger and fuller bodied. Too good just for the winter!

A favourite winter brew when all the local pubs are offering piddly pale ales. Can't beat it!

As close to a pint from the barrel as you can get at home. A great tasting beer, full-bodied and served best at room temperature. If you like 6X then you’ll find that Old Timer takes things to another level.

This beer hits the the spot it's strong it's good to look at and even better to drink. It's a proper winter beer and the added bonus is as far as I know it's available all year so if you like a strong beer don't pass this bad boy bye highly recommended

First time I've tried OT in the bottle, still a memorable beer, I could sit in a comfy chair and be whisked back to sitting in the snug of the ' who'd a thought it' in Lockeridge washing down home made beef stew with OT direct from the barrel. That was back in the early 1980's. Still hits the spot.

Dark and rich but not heavy, a trafitional dark ale - perfect for Autumn but goes well all year round.

great winter ale

Had this on draught a few years ago and was delighted able to buy bottles for XMAS. Delicious malt and dried fruit flavours without being overly sweet.

I ordered my my beer and various hat glass T shirt..arrived so quickly within 48 hours, prompt well packaged and free delivery because over £70 will be ordering again very soon!

I purchased a case of Old Timer as my Christmas holiday tipple, it arrived 24hrs after placing an order ( not bad for Wiltshire to Scotland!) Haven't drunk Old Timer in years and was suitably rewarded with a pleasant tasty beer perfect for a cold winter evening. Will purchase again. I was doubly rewarded when I found out my local is selling Swordfish on draught - also a very pleasant pint. Hopefully will see more Wadworth beers venturing into Scotland!
